Our Vision & Mission
Established in 2014 as the service wing of the Chicago Andhra Association,
Chicago Andhra Foundation (CAF) is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to uplifting communities by addressing critical needs through impactful charitable initiatives.
VISION STATEMENT
Chicago Andhra Foundation envisions a compassionate and empowered society where underserved communities—both in India and locally—are uplifted through sustained support in areas like healthcare, education, youth development, disaster relief, and women empowerment.
We aspire to be a trusted force for good, creating lasting impact through collaboration, empathy, and responsible service. Up to 25% of membership fees paid by our members is allotted to support service activities.
MISSION STATEMENT
We focus on key areas such as disaster relief, medical aid, education, youth engagement, and women empowerment. With strong partnerships built through our dedicated members and generous sponsors, we aim to serve underprivileged populations both in India and within our local communities.
Our mission is driven by a spirit of compassion, collaboration, and service—empowering lives and creating meaningful, sustainable change.

TO SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT
Requirements of a Project
To ensure effective and transparent support for service projects, CAF has established the following basic requirements. These guidelines help align proposed projects with CAF’s mission and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Community Welfare Focus
The project must be service-oriented and directed toward the welfare of a very needy community or population.
Compliance
India Projects: If the project is based in India, the organization must have FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) status.
US Projects: The organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the US.
Project Information
A detailed proposal must be provided, clearly explaining: The purpose of the project, how it benefits the targeted community, and how CAF support will help achieve its goals.
Review & Approval
All submissions will be reviewed by the CAA Board. Decisions on support will be made based on current funding availability and the priority of the project. CAA Board’s decision will be final.
